PowerSchool Product Accessibility Statement
PowerSchool supports every part of the learning journey with a breadth of educational and operational tools that impact every student’s experience. We are guided by an inspiring purpose: every student deserves to learn in a way that’s right for them.
To demonstrate this commitment, we continually assess compliance of our products and online services with all relevant web accessibility laws and standards, including:
- W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
- Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act
- Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
- Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA)
- European Accessibility Act (EN 301 549)
Driving accessibility forward
Continual improvement in accessibility is an ongoing and critical element to fulfilling our mission.
Our PowerSchool Accessibility Program Team, which consists of subject matter experts from across the organization, advocates for accessibility in each department and trains employees on best practices.
We regularly review and update our existing design system and code bases to meet the latest accessibility standards.
Conformance
PowerSchool agrees and certifies that all web content, services, and applications are accessible to the extent reported in the applicable Accessibility Conformance Report (based on the VPAT) for the licensed service. Such ACRs are available via a secure platform, Whistic. (Sign-in is required for access to these resources.)
PowerSchool further agrees to document a timeline to address any gaps reported in the ACR. Documented timelines to address gaps will be provided to customers upon written request.
To help PowerSchool achieve and maintain accessibility standards, third-party partners with diverse teams of accessibility professionals test our conformance.
