April 2026 – Naviance: Tools & Tips for Rising Seniors

This PowerUp is ideal for those supporting rising seniors as they prepare for the college application season. 

• Review best practices for letters of recommendation and brag sheets
• Walk through key tools like SuperMatch, eDocs, and scholarships
• Learn how to leverage RepVisits to schedule in-person and virtual college visits
• Get tips to ensure your Class of 2027 is ready for a successful application season

March 2026 –Naviance: Tools, Timelines, & Success Planner 2.0 for 2026-202

This forward-looking session is designed for district and school leaders, as well as counselors, to support strategic planning for the upcoming school year.

• Get a big-picture overview of tools available for students in 2026–2027
• Review Success Planner 2.0 and how it supports goal setting and progress tracking 
• Explore key features for self-discovery, career exploration, and postsecondary planning 
• Learn about available Professional Development and training resources

February 2026 –Work-Based Learning & Career Exploration Tools in Action

This session will showcase how Naviance supports career readiness through hands-on tools for exploration and engagement.

• Explore the Work-Based Learning (WBL) tool: track hours, manage opportunities, and support student engagement
• Learn how to connect students with real-world experiences and outside organizations 
• Review career exploration tools that help students discover interests and plan pathways
• Understand how to track and report

January 2026 – Part 2: Senior Surveys & Reporting: Setup and Best Practices

This session is all about looking ahead to graduation! We’ll take a deep dive into senior surveys, why they matter, how to set them up, and how to make the most of the data they provide. 

• Learn what information senior surveys can capture and why it’s valuable
• Walk through how to create, assign, and manage surveys
• Explore how students complete them and how to access and use the results

January 2026: Check In, Reset, Refocus: A Mid-Year Working Session

This PowerUp is a hands-on, mid-year check-in designed to help you assess and strengthen your district’s Naviance implementation.

• Complete a guided checklist within your own Naviance account
• Review current usage, key configurations, Reports 3.0, data imports, and SSO setup 
• Identify areas for improvement and define concrete next steps
• Get reminders and tips related to Course Planner

December 2025: Course Planner Deep Dive & Sneak Peek into RoadMap

This session will highlight new and upcoming AI-powered tools in Naviance designed to support both staff and students throughout the college and career planning process.

• Explore PowerBuddy: Naviance’s student-facing AI assistant
• Preview the new staff PowerBuddy: a tool to help staff get quick answers and guidance 
• Learn about the Teacher AI feature to support efficient, high-quality student recommendations
• See the Counselor LOR AI assistant in action to streamline letter-writing workflows

November 2025: Career Ready

Career Ready: Tools for WBL, Portfolios & Reporting

This session will focus on Naviance tools that support career readiness through exploration, engagement, and outcome tracking.

• Overview of the new Work-Based Learning (WBL) tool, including hours tracking and opportunity management
• Guidance on involving external organizations and supporting student-led engagement • Best practices for using student portfolios to showcase growth and planning
• How Reports connects to career readiness tools and supports outcome reporting

October 2025: AI in Action

AI in Action: Empowering Staff and Students

This session highlighted new and upcoming AI-powered tools in Naviance designed to support both staff and students throughout the college and career planning process.

• Explore application reporting tools to support tracking and follow-up
