National Study of Special Education Spending
We are collecting and analyzing K-12 finance data to create estimates on how districts spend money on special education. Our novel methodological approach and findings will help clarify funding needs for IDEA services.
Implement for Impact
Implement for Impact (I4I) is a free tool designed to help education leaders find evidence-based learning interventions that match their district's needs and resource capabilities. I4I is a project developed by PowerSchool Allovue and funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Special Education Spending Audit, Washington State
As part of a large evaluation of Washington's special education finance system, our team analyzed finance data for 295 districts. The study found that WA districts spend, on average, at least 26% more per student than they receive from state and federal sources.
