That’s why we’re proud to announce that Schoology Learning is the first LMS to support OneRoster 1.2 integration, which is targeted to be available for back-to-school 2021 to support schools and districts that use Infinite Campus SIS (although providing this integration to additional SIS solutions is currently in the early planning stages).
What is OneRoster 1.2 Integration?
OneRoster standardizes data sharing between a Student Information System (SIS) and an external solution, such as an LMS. and allows information to be securely shared between the two platforms, specifically:
- Roster Data, such as staff, students, courses, and sections to connect from the SIS to the LMS
- Performance Data, such as grade pass-back of assignments and scores from the LMS to the gradebook in the SIS
Historically, Schoology Learning has successfully supported OneRoster version 1.1 integration to multiple student information systems, including Infinite Campus. With the release of the updated OneRoster version 1.2 standard, we quickly prioritized supporting this new standard. We are starting with Infinite Campus SIS targeted for back-to-school 2021, which is used by multiple schools and districts that are already beta-testing this functionality ahead of it becoming widely available this fall.
